Fashion design is a type of design that is closely related to industrial design, and it is also one of the fields that I am most interested in besides my own major. Most of my personal experiences related to textile are bag making/wearable art. During my four years of undergraduate study, I have designed different kinds of bags with different design intentions.
There are practical and comfortable Tote designed for female, pregnant women and mothers in praise of female reproductive organs. The design feature of this bag not only praises the female reproductive organs, but also appeals to the people who use the bag to view the beauty and strength of the female body from a correct and positive perspective. There are also outdoor bags designed for practicality, and waist bags designed for daily use.
I am proficient in operating both Industrial and domestic sewing machines. I have also worked with a variety of textiles from industrial (Arc’teryx, Goretex,Nylon) to organic (Biotextile, silk) etc.
